Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel They're two blue lines, one vertical, one horizontal, that show up in edit mode on my slides. They've never been there before, now they are. I've restarted computer and powerpoint numerous times, they're still there. How do I get rid of them?

You're referring to the Static Guides that bisect the slide in order to aid
in positioning, scaling, alignment, etc. When you don't need them displayed
go to View> Guides to turn them off. However, they do not print or display
when running the Slide Show. See PPT Help on how to use them effectively.

Much obliged. That does the trick.
Thanks,
