Lines on page

Have a document with a line down the left side of it. Can
not delete it, and when it prints it prints the line on
the right side of the page. Any sugestions on how to get
rid of the line

Most likely it is a drawing line anchored to the header, with position set
to Inside or Outside (so that it alternates position). View | Header and
Footer, then click on it and press Delete.
