Lines through in-coming text messages

I recently installed Outlook 2000 on a new laptop running
XP Home Edition on a wireless home network. Server PC on
the same network is running Microsoft ME and Outlook 2000.
Receiving mail on the laptop works fine. However text
messages received on the ME machine have lines running
through each line of text. HTML messages are received OK.

If the headers for mess age and/or subject line is greyed out with a line running through it, then thst email has "expired". By this I mean that the outlook that sends the email has the option set that emails have an "expiry period" Youi need to uncheck the box in email tracking that asks if you want an expiry period set.
