Hi,

How do we link a access .mbd file table to a pivot table in excel?
Also if anyone can post a simple user form for data entry in excess
table which I can begin with.

I think in this case it would be wise to reverse the process and start in
Excel using MS Query. From there you can access the tables you need from your
db.

You should look under create query in the data menu from Excel.

You can create an external data source in excel that is linked to
an .mdb file. Then use those cells as the Pivot Table source data.

If you use the Pivot Table Wizard in Excel, you can specify the Access Table
you want as your input.

Hi,

Cyberwolf, while using Pivot table wizard, at the end I get an error
message "Syntax error in FROM clause".
Any idea?

Thx.
