Link Access to Outllook Contacts and choose which fields

I can create a link to Outlook with no problem. However, when I create a
link to Outlook Contacts I cannot choose the fields that I want and instead
MS imports any fields it wants' Even if I set up Contacts to show only the
fields I want, the fields imported and linked are totally different. Thanks
for your help!
