Link all objects/text boxes in one copy and paste?

I downloaded a template from Microsoft site and edited a few changes to it.
But can not copy the template and move it to another document in one piece.
Each text box or shape within it when selected only moves that piece of the
whole object. How can you link everything together and copy it all as one
piece?

Generally, you can use the selection tool on the drawing toolbar. I like to use it when I'm viewing "whole page". The selection tool looks like your mouse pointer. The drawing toolbar can be found by View-Toolbars-Drawing. If you're also trying to select regular text, you may want to consider inserting the file into your other file by placing your cursor at the insertion point and hitting Insert-File...

Hi,

Ctrl-A then copy (eg Ctrl-C) will select the whole document, including
embedded shapes etc.

Alternatively, if you just want to select the shapes, select one, the hold
down the Shift key while selecting others. When you've selected all the
required shapes, copy & paste in the normal manner. This may have
unpredictable results if your shapes span more than one page, though.

Cheers
