Link Bar 'Buttons' won't display

Hi,
I've seen similar problems to this previously on this group, but have tried
everything listed and still have the problem.
My problem is that the 'buttons' used on my Link Bar (which I'm using on a
dynamic web template) have been displaying fine up until today.
Today I added a new Photo Gallery to one of my pages and that works fine.
Now the 'buttons' on my Link Bar do not display, they default to 'text only'
links.
My domain hosting service is running FP extensions, Ver.5.0.2.2634.
I've checked my own site and the extensions Ver. is 6.0.2.6353
I upload using FP, not a third party FTP client.
I've tried deleting and rebuilding the Link Bar, but still have the same
problem.
I've tried changing the 'style' of button', still no good.
The only thought I have is to delete the new Photo Gallery I added and see
if that fixes it. That would be a last resort though as I really want to
keep the Photo Gallery. Surely I should be able to use both?
Would appreciate any assistanmce. Thanks.

PS remove punctuation from file names like classicEp's.html

Thanks Stefan,
I haven't been able to try this fix yet, as I have been unable to access
this Newsgroup until today.
Any idea on how the punctuation marks get there in the first place if it's
them that create this problem?
