Link Bar disappeared from home page when published

I made some very minor edits on the homepage of my website. When I published
the site the link bar for the homepage and contact page completely
disappeared. The link bar appears on the other pages of my website and on
all pages on my local version. I didn't make any edits to the link bar.
Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Did you open your web site in FrontPage before you opened the home page?
