Link Bar -- Open in new window

Forgive me if this has been asked before but I didn't
have the time or energy to look through all of the pages
that MS brought up with search query for "Link Bar."
(Went through about 12 of them...)

Is there any way of editing the Link Bar (with the Custom
Links Component) so that each link, when the link is
clicked, will open in a new window instead of using the
parent window?

Set a base target in the head section of your page
