Hi,
Uses: Frontpage 2002 with SP3, IIS 5.1, Windows XP Professional with SP2
....etc.
Hi,
Recently I was having a problem with Frontpage. To describe the problem I'm
hanging up with is: I'm using Shared Borders and Link Bars refering to
Navigation Stucture. They look good in Frontpage itself, but when I tried to
view from http://localhost/myweb or from a remote computer as
http://mycomp/myweb, the Link bar styles doesn't look the one as I applied
from Frontpage.
So desparate to find a solution, I was surfing the web until I find this
article which do come across my problem:
http://www.vividoffice.com/support/fpfaq.asp#navserver
but however the answer/solution is not specific indeed. However it says that
the Frontpage Server Extension might be an older Version....etc. This
triggered me to get some answers to the below mentioned questions
01.How can I know what is My version of Frontpage Server Extension?
02.Is it Ok to use IIS and Frontpage Extension together?
03.Is it really necessary to have frontpage Extension instead of having IIS?
and of course,
I want to know, did some one come across this kind of problem and what did
he do to solve it or someone who can give a helping hand to solve it and of
course how true is the article above?
Regards,
