Hello, In the Toy Store Demo for FrontPage their is a link bar that has those menus then drop down when hovered over. I have searched high & low and cannot figure out how to do this. This is the reason I upgraded from 2002. Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

Is there not an automatic way for FrontPage 2003 to do this? I did this way and the menus take a few seconds to close and will not reappear. You think Microsoft would not include it in their demos if they don't actually have a function to this?

what they used to get that effect.

I have two versions of the menu described at
www.interlacken.com/winnt/tips/tipshow.aspx?tip=28

At www.rxs-enterprises.com/tests/menus/ is a menu constructed exactly as
per the article.

At www.rxs-enterprises.com/ is a more complex version, but the code has been
adapted to run in an external .js file. The adaptions made should make the
menu opening and closing slower than the unadapted variety.

In both cases the menus open, close and re-open almost instantly (even on my
Pentium 166MX), without any of the problems you are seeing.

One thing may affect the closing of the menu - that is the size of the
closing image. If this is too "tight" around the opened menus the mouse
pointer may not register as it moves from the menu onto the image and into
the rest of the page. This sometimes happens at www.rxs-enterprises.com/ if
the mouse is moved upwards to the top of the page - the closing image is
only 2 pixels high in that direction, 10px would be better.

Have you published your page? If so, URL?
