Link Data from Excel Files into Word Document ?

I routinely write reports that use values calculated by Excel spreadheets.
Is there a way to link the numerical values from an Excel file into a canned
Word document to reduce the time spent entereing and proofing data?

Select the area of the Excel spreadsheet you're interested in, copy it to
the clipboard. In Word, select the destination and choose Edit|Paste Special
and make sure you select the 'Paste link' option. From then on, the link
will allow the document to update automatically to reflect any changes in
the source cells in the spreadsheet.
