Link document to new task

Hello,

I work with Project Server 2003.
I link documents to projects and to tasks, it work ok.
But, if I add new task and publish the project, I must close the file and
open it again. otherwise, I can't link document to the new task.

Any idea how to skip the close and open action ?

Perl,

The new task is not available in the views tables (which also populate the
link availability) until the project is published. So I believe that your
Project Professional is probably configured to save and publish.

You can do a:
Collaborate> Publish> New and Changed Assignments

wait a few minutes for it to process on project server and then try to link.
