Currently, you can double-click on a date in Calendar in Outlook and
designate a whole day as "Out of Office". However, you still need to
designate yourself as "Out of Office" in the Out of Office Assistant in order
for the automatic replies to take place. The two should be linked. If you
designate a whole day in Calendar as being out of office, you shouldn't have
to go into the Assistant and designate yourself as Out. The automatic
replies should begin as soon as that future date is reached, and they should
stop as soon as the Out of Office dates end. I have found no way to
automatically set up a range of future dates as being out of office. It is
annoying to have to remember before I leave the office for my vacation to go
into the Assistant. The Out of Office in Calendar should be linked to the
Assistant.
