Link presentation with excel file

Hello!

I'd like to link my presentation with an excel file. I
created an action button and then browsed the file via
Action Settings/Run program. When running the button,
Powerpoint shows a message: "Powerpoint couldn't locate or
start "abc.xls" "
What can I do?

Hi, Maria,

Run program will start a program -- but not open a file
within that program.

To open your file, in the Action Settings dialog box,
select Hyperlink To ... then in the dropdown list under
Hyperlink To, select Other File, and browse from there to
select your Excel file to open.
