Link spread sheet to another workbook

hey guys!

Does anyone knows how to link a whole spreadsheet page to another
workbook? I know in Open Office you could just go to "insert
spreadsheet" and then browse the file you want, then click "link". The
spreadsheet from one folder could then link to another workbook.
How does that work in Excel?

Sample: file A, and file B.

File A spreadsheet link to file B workbook. if one just edit file A and
saved. Open file B, the data of file A is also updated. And this means
colour, the style, the format, the whole page.

Does anyone knows how to do this?

Excel does not have an equivalent feature. I guess you'd have to delete the
current 'linked sheet' and copy in the new one.

There's nothing like this in excel.

You could select all the cells (maybe just the usedrange???), then edit|copy.

Then to the new sheet and edit|paste special|links

But this won't return formatting. And it'll return 0's for cells that were
empty.

Damn, was hoping that there's a similar ways of doing that in Excel....


I guess back to "cut and paste" daily then~~~
