link table to a link table

I would like have a link table to a link table. I am not sure that does
Access support this?

Should link table to a physical tables or could be a link table link a link
table?

For example, I have 2 different apps and use different databases.

I have app 1 has FE1 and BE1 and app2 has FE2 and BE2.
Is it possible that FE2 link a table in BE2 that BE2 is a link table to link
BE1?

As far as I know you cannot link to a linked table.

But the question really is why would you want to.

Simply have FE2 link to the real tables where they reside so in this
case you would set it up to have FE2 link to tables in BE2 AND
BE1.

A front end can link to as many tables and as many BE type tables as
is needed (within reason).

For instance I have a FE1 that links to tables in a BE1 and to
BE3 and to BE1Temp Tables.

There is no constraint that all linked tables be in the same BE.
