hi folks.....in a table; one field is hyperlink to a related Word doc (in
folder on same PC)....all works well in table view - - - -i.e. in any record
I can open its link field and see the Word doc related to that record.
but of course users won't be working directly in table they will work in a
Report....
In the most simple style Report based on this same table where I simply
dragged over all the fields: when this field "Link" populates - it shows the
link in blue and looks great and click-able - - but it is not click-able - -
-one only has the magnifying glass....
what's the proper approach to this for someone to read the Report and if
they then need to reference this related Word doc they can just click on the
link?.....it seems as if this is what is intended by Access but not seemingly
working as a vanilla feature - I welcome advice....
