Link to file

Using powerpoint 2002, did the 'link to file'
functionality change when inserting images that are
located on the web? I used to be able to click that
option using powerpoint 2000, but am no longer able to in
powerpoint 2002.

It is no longer a check box on the dialog box, but instead behind the
"arrow" next to the "Insert" button.

That's the trouble. Whenever I put a web address as the
location of an image, it won't let me click on the arrow.
Whenever I do, powerpoint goes ahead and embeds the
image. It's not even giving me the option to link to file
anymore.
