link to .pdf problems

Steve

I hvae an inline frame acting as my "headlines" textbox
so it can stay the same size and yet scroll down giving
me more space for info.

I've had to make sure the target frame for any links from
that frame are set to "whole page" so the link won't open
in the small frame area...

my problem is that I am trying to link to and adobe .pdf
file that seems fine everywhere else except when I
publish and try to use the link...it goes to a "page can
not be displayed"...

is there something I'm doing wrong with regards to
linking to a .pdf document in this way?

thanks in advance for any help, much appreciated.

A link to a pdf "should" automatically open the file in the Adobe Acrobat
Reader inside a browser window
1. Make sure Adobe Acrobat is installed on the machine.
2.. Make sure Adobe is set as the default program to open files of type:
..pdf
3.. Make sure your server account is set to recognize the Mime type: pdf (
your host may have to set this for you )
