linked cell's format to always match the original

How do I have a cell that's value is created by a link to
another cell in another worksheet always keep the
formatting of the original cell? If I change the
background on the original to red, have that carry
through on the link in the other page? I cannot seem to
find anything on this, it is possible?

You'll need to use an event macro since worksheet functions can only
return values. See, for example,
