I currently have a form that contains an OLE object field. This field
contains embedded Microsoft Word documents. I want the file embedded because
I like the ability to scroll through the document by double clicking on the
field. If I use a linked file when I double click the field the file will
open in a new window. Is there a way to keep the file embedded on the form,
yet have any changes made saved to the original file...rather than just the
embedded file. I.E., if I reword a paragraph I only see the changes if I
look at the file in Access. I do not see the changes if I open the file in
Word. Is there a way to save the changes to the original file, with code or
a function built into Access?
Thank you.
