Linked SQL table pulls all numbers as positive

In Access 2003 I have a link to an SQL 2005 table. There is an integer field
that contains both positive and negative numbers in SQL. When I view the
data in access all of the numbers look to be positive. If I view the
information in excel (linked to the SQL table) the numbers show correctly.

Any ideas???
