Linked tables

I have a user working with Access 2003 and a shared database. This database
has tables that are linked. When going to the Links Manager, it lists the
linked tables with the entire path. The problem is what is the K drive on his
computer may be the P drive on someone else's computer. Is there a way for it
to recognize the name of the server vs. the name of the drive?

Dear maryj:

When using the linked table manager, navigate to the backend file by using
the "My Network Places" icon. Access will then use the UNC path to the file,
rather than a drive mapping.
