Linking a Cell value to a Worksheet tab

Does anyone know if I can link the value of a cell to the
name of a worksheet tab so that when I update one it
automatically updates the other?

This is taken from MVP Debra Dalgleish's page at:

Put in, say, A1
: =MID(CELL("filename",A1),FIND("]",CELL("filename",A1))+1,255)

The above will give the sheet name.

Note: The file must be saved or the formula will not work.
