Linking a file to a table in a database

Whenever I try link to a text data file to a table in a
database, (Both file and database are on my FP Site), I
receive the following errors:

Internal Internet Failure

then

Not a valid account name

then

Bad file name or number

Please help, Thank you

Hi Mike,

The data file I am trying to link to, is an inventory txt
file that is uploaded to a folder on the site.

Then I open the database, try to create a new table using
link, I can browse to the file via My Network Places, and
that is where I start getting those errors.

I tried this on my desktop and it works, but not thru the
website.
