linking a Gantt chart between pages???

I'm new to Gantt Charting in Visio 2000. My chart is 300+ tasks and extends
over 1 year. The longer the chart gets the slower loading is in the
software. Is there any way to split 1 Gantt chart into multiple pages and
have them continue to be linked to one another????
I can't think of any other way to minimize the load times.
