Linking a textbox to a cell in another workbk

I would like to link a textbox in workbk A to a cell in workbk B. So far, I
couldn't find any direct hyperlink to do the above. Appreciate any
suggestions. Thanks!

I'm not sure if you can direct link with a text box, but you could do a
two-step method.

Have a cell somewhere in current workbook link to the value you want in
other workbook, then have the text box link to that cell. Not a direct
solution I'm afraid, but is a viable alternative.

Thanks for your suggestion.

I have 2 workbks. What i want is that when a user clicks the word "Go" which
is in a textbox in alpha.xlsm, it will be hyperlinked to cell A1 in
beta.xlsm.

I tried the below--
file:///c:\test\beta.xlsm - 'Sheet1'!A1

but was prompted a "Cannot open specified file"

Any idea on what went wrong? Thanks.
