Linking different forms

I have a form that I want to insert a drop down that is based on a field in a
another form/database. Once the field is selected, I want the associated
fields to come accross into my form based on the drop down selection. This
is to eliminate the need to re-enter the same fields in my form.

How can I create the drop down, and then bringing over the other related
fields into my form.
