Linking Durations to Summary Task Duration

Hey all how do you dynamically link durations of 'recurring status meetings'
or 'overhead tasks' to the summary task so that project calculates the
duration of the summary task and make its the detailed task duration?

Okay, I think what I was looking for was when I copy one duration in a
Summary Task and then right click and select 'Paste Special' on the detailed
task duration column. Then I choose Paste Link from the pop-up window.

Has anyone done this before?
