Hi Sherry,
Are you sure the chart is linked, and not embedded? If you embed it, you get
the underlying workbook also - which could explain the increased file size.

Sherry's workboook is not embedded, it is linked and it
increases up to 4MB at times causing issues with printing
and openning on other networked PC's. Other users seem to
not have this issue with the same file. We are all using
Windows XP, Office 2000

Perhaps Word on Sherry's PC is set up with the 'fast save' option turned on
(see Tools|options|Save). A guaranteed path to file bloat and eventual

No that is not the issue. We have narrowed it to
posssibly the users network ID. She is having the same
issue on a loaner PC while we trouble shoot her own PC.
