Linking excel pivot tables

Does anybody know how to link a page selcetion from one pivot table e.g
female to another pivot table so the linked pivot would show the
"female" data too?

You can use programming to link the page fields. There are sample files
here:

Under Pivot tables, look for 'Change Multiple Page Fields' and 'Change
Page Field'
