Linking Excel to PowerPoint

I'm linking an excel sheet to a powerpoint presentation but the text is not
showing the different colors. It all comes out in black and white. I did
not have this problem about a month ago. I don't know why it changed all of
a sudden. Please help me. Thanks.

If you have a non-color printer as your default at the time of the copy and
paste, you will get this result. Change the default to a color printer, and
you will see the colors. Note, you don't have to actually have a color
printer, you just have to have the drivers installed and that printer
selected as the default.
