linking Primary key to foreign key on different tabs.

Hi,
I created a 8 forms for 8 tables. One table has a
primary key, the other 7 have foreign keys. I then
created a form with 8 tabs (a tab for every form). I had
hoped that when I added the primary key field on one form
that it would autofill in the foreign key fields of the
other forms (which are tabs). My relationships are set
up. What am I not thinking about to make this work?
