Hi,
our company is planning to deploy the exisiting project server for all
departments and subsidiaries. Currently we use the server only in some
departments for project timing and rudimental resource planning.
Despite this big challenge we are facing problems with linking project
schedules.
As our project structure is likely complex...
1 project = 9 project schedules
(projectmanager,sales,production,purchasing,etc.)
....We would like to link these pre-defined project templates into one
master project to achieve this goal. However we do not want to
save/publish this master project. The result should be a linked project
structure that can be used as a template when setting up new projects.
Now we are facing problems linking project templates or moreover it
seems to be impossible.
Of course we would like to avoid to use some SQL scripts,etc. for this.
Any ideas? Any tools? Any help?
