Linking SharePoint Sites to Projects

B

Brian Gibson

I am using Project 2002 and SharePoint Team Serves...

I have SharePoint sites that are subwebs:

http://projserv/SCautomation/

and I have SharePoint sites that are subwebs of sebwebs:

http://projserv/sysdev/LAWupgrade

I CAN link the first site above to a project in "Manage SharePoint Team
Services subwebs" section of Project Server, but NOT the second. Error
message is: "The subweb whose address you provided does not exist. Make sure
to create the subweb first before pointing the project to it"

Is the a way to do this?

I am now trying to merge the subweb but it errors:

"Cannot convert the web "sysdev/LAWupgrade" into a folder because it
contains lists, surveys, discussion boards or document libraries. Please
delete these and try again."

I deleted everything except for the issues. I can not delete those (at least
I do not know how.)

Any suggestions or should I just recreate the site off the root? Would
FrontPage help here?

I am not trying to delete a site. I am trying to merge a site. When I try to
merge I get this:

"Cannot convert the web "sysdev/LAWupgrade" into a folder because it
contains lists, surveys, discussion boards or document libraries. Please
delete these and try again."

The only items on the site are issues which I do not know how to delete.

Thanks,

Brian
