Issues: Linking tasks between Proejcts

I would like to link summary tasks between 2 projects with a FF
depenpendencies. Basically need to know if this can be done as we want to
know when a Summary taks is completed on one Project then the tasks can start
on another project.

I know there are circular relationship issues with Summary tasks, so keeping
this in mind if anyone has any insights to this issue that would appreciated.

Thanks

Yes this can be done. Any of the dependency types can be created by opening
both project plans, going to the "Window" menu, selecting "new window" then
select both of the plans. Select the tasks to be linked and link them in
whatever way you prefer (drag a link, click the link icon ...) Then save the
plans.

From your description is sounds as if you want a finish to start
relationship instead of finish to finish, but either of these sorts of
dependencies can be created.

I would recommend linking the finish of the last task or milestone in a
summary section in Project A to the start of the first task in a summary
section in Project B.

Also, I was confused by your second paragraph because it sounds to me like
you are describing a Finish to Start yet you say that you are trying to set
up a Finish to Finish.
