Linking tasks in inserted sub projects

I want to link - set dependencies- of tasks in different sub projects that
are inserted in a Master Project. What is the best way of performing this?

Hi Harry...

I've found the best way to set dependencies across multiple sub projects is
to open the master schedule. You can link between sub-projects by selecting
the tasks to link to/from then clicking on the "link" button on the standard
toolbar. MP will automatically put the file path and ID number in the
predecessor and successor fields. The same applies to deleting links across
sub-projects. Open the master and delete the links. If you remove those
links in the sub-projects only the link will reappear when you open the
master. Doing most external link activities in the master ensures successful
links and delinks.
