Linking to an RDP Connection

Excel 2003

I'm trying to link to an RDP connection from within an Excel Spreadsheet.
The Connection is saved on a network drive and the hyperlink in Excel is OK
as I created it by browsing to the connector. When I click on it I get a
warning message "Some files can contain viruses...blah blah" "Would you like
to open it" but when I click OK I get the message "No Program is registered
to open this file".

I have the remote desktop connection software installed on my machine and it
is certainly registered as it works when I double click the file BUT it
won't work from within excel.

Any ideas appreciated
