Linking to frames?

I am trying to link a url from my site into a specific page in another site.
But the site is written in frames, so its URL doesn't change as you navigate
through parts of it. The part I need to link to is buried in there. Is
there another way to link to a specific frame?

No. You have the right approach, but you would need to know the filename
for the page you want to link to. Looking at the code for the link that
takes you to that page would tell you that.

Be aware that many framd sites include specific code to prevent you from
doing this.

Adding to Murray's comment, when you link to any site to include their
content, you are essentially presenting their material as yours—a violation
of copyright. Contact them for written permission prior to starting.

Thanks guys. that's reassuring advice. I have permission. It's a
partnership, but they outsourced their web creation and are no wiser than me.
We thought we would have to get the the frame site re-written - at a cost.
Hopefully we can get around it as I'm sure I can 'get' access to the URL code.
