Linking to Remote Site

I am having problems with Internet Explorer. I need to connect to my remote
but do this through my AOL account (which is working).

You're going to have to tell us more than that. What do you mean, "connect
to your remote but do this through your AOL account"? What does this have to
do with Internet Explorer?
