Linking to specific cell in Piv Table

[Linking to specific cells in pivot table]

Hi - I was wondering, if there was a way to link another cell in a
spreadsheet to a specific cell in a pivot table? I.E. - in the table below,
can I set up a specific link from another cell to cell C3 so that this other
cell always shows the results of cell C3, regardless of what value is in cell
B3?

2 TOP_LEVEL_ASSY Grand Total
3 Product A 266,459
4 Product B 195,480

You can always write, simply, =Sheet2!$C$3

But what if you assume that's the value for Product A and the user has chosen
not to display data for that product?

Better, I think, to use VLOOKUP to search for the product name in column A and
return the corresponding value from column C, if it's there, an error message
if not.
