Linking to SQL Server

I am trying to convert my tables to SQL server and using the Access 2000
front end.

Most things seem to be working, accept the ability to delete records from an
ODBC linked table. Is there a setting somewhere, or permissions etc. that I
need to change to allow me to delete records from the linked table, or am I
cooked?

Or is there something else I should be doing.

Double-check that the table in question has a primary key defined
