Linking Visual Foxpro tables to Access 2003

I have been trying to download a Visual Foxpro driver to help read Visual
Foxpro tables in Access. I have downloaded the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for
Visual Foxpro 9.0 SP1 from the downloads section in Microsoft.
When I go into Control Panel/Administration Tools/Data Sources to add the
driver, I get the message "You must install the current version of Visual
Foxpro ODBC driver".
Am I downloading the wrong update or into the wrong directory? I can't see a
download specifically which says only ODBC driver.
I appear to have an originally installed driver in C:/Windows/System32 folder.
The download appears to be installing a file vfpoledb.dll into C:/Program
Files/Common Files/System/OLE DB.
Thanks

Hi Mark,

OLE DB is not ODBC. To use OLE DB you have to use ADO rather than just
linking up the tables. The current version of the FoxPro and Visual FoxPro
ODBC driver is downloadable from
msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro/downloads/updates/odbc.

The ODBC driver is compatible with Fox tables through version 6. Since VFP6
new data features have been added to the tables that are not compatible with
ODBC. However, if the tables are created with VFP7 and above and do not use
any of the new data features then they are ODBC compatible.
