Hi
Currently we have many (hundreds) of formated MS word tables & paragraphs
(elements) in a few word documents that we use to create testing
reports(word documents not access reports) .I would like to store into
access 2007, rather than setup quickparts in word2007. That way I can merge
fields from other tables in the database above or below the pasted word
elements.
In the inital setup I do not want to store the contents of the tables only
the blank tables as there a too many to start normalising at the moment(Next
years project) All I need is a document creator where we construct a
document through access and once the document is constructed for that
customer we then add some table data via word (this data will not be held in
the database).
I have tried to create an ole object which seems to hold a couple of the
pasted formatted word elements as a test, however when I print preview and
it looks ok but when I then send it to word as a rtf I open the word
document up and dont see the tables just an 1 or a 2.
Using copy & paste I would like to paste these into a field into access.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks
