Linking worksheets within a workbook

I have a spreadsheet where I have the original data and a second worksheet I
sorted on a column to be able to find data quicker and enter it in another
column. The data in the second column is directly related to the column I
resorted.

I want to look up the data on my second worksheet and display it on the
original sheet (in the appropriate relationship with the original data).

I thin it's some sort of lookup function, but everything I have tried so far
results in nothing.

Help! I'm a relative novice at this.
