Links and Menu Not Working In Safari

Louis Carlino

Hi,

I am using the latest version of Publisher. My site can be accessed at
www.BodyPsychYoga.com.

My Links and Navigation Bar are dead in the Safari Web Browser. They work
fine in both IE and FF.

I noticed a post a few weeks ago where someone reported a similar problem
and a I tried some of the suggestions on that thread but to no avail.

Right now, the Navigation Bar is placed on the Master Page. I've tried
placing the Navigation Bar individually on each page and the interesting
thing when I do that is that it works on all pages but the Home page or the
page that Publisher names index.htm. I have also played around with placing
hyperlinked text on the Home page, and the problem is the same, so it is
just not a Navigation Bar problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Unfortunately, the probable solution is to put the navbars on the main page.
As a general rule, don't use the Master Page feature with a Publisher web
publication. It results in unpredictable problems such as you are
experiencing.

Hey David,

Thanks for the suggestion of eliminating the Master Page. It worked.
Hopefully Microsoft will get around to fixed the problem at some point.

Thanks for posting back. Yeah, it would be nice if we could put the navbar
on the Master Page...
