Links Between Projects Dialogue

I am using Project Server 2003. I have created a project that
contains links to nine other projects. Everytime I open this project I
get the Links Between Projects Dialogue Box pop-up with a list of
changes. I've hit accept on them all and saved the project yet
everytime I open that project I still get that dialogue box telling me
to accept changes that I have already accepted. What am I missing?

Validate that you are accepting all Predessesor External Link data changes
as well as Successor External Link data changes.

Also, you can try to use the option in Tools>Options to Not open the
external dialog box on open and accept all external data changes
automatically, not sure if this is a viable option for you.

I have validated that I am accepting all Predecessor External Links
and Successor External Links.

As an experiment, I chose to not show the dialog box and accept all
changes automatically. After opening, saving, closing, and then re-
opening the project I click on the Tool>Links Between Projects and the
dialog still showed a bunch of changes that should have been
automatically changed. All but 2 of the changes displayed "Nothing"
under the differences column.

If you don't want to see the dialog, open EACH of the 10 projects and do the
following:

1. Click Tools - Options.
2. Click the View tab.
3. In the Cross Project Linking Options section, deselect the "Show Links
Between Projects dialog on open" option.
4. Select the "Automatically accept new external data" option.
5. Click OK.
6. Save and close the project.

Hope this helps.

It's not that I don't want to see the pop-up window, it's that MS
Project wont accept my attempts to accept the changes, and
consquently, I see the pop-up window again and again.
