We have a person here at work who is sending her PowerPoint files to Word and
checking the link feature. Sometimes when she opens the Word file, she will
get an error message stating that Word cannot find the link. Since my job is
to help out with software problems, I have been called on to try to help her.
She insists she has not moved or renamed the PowerPoint file. Yesterday, she
had the error message for one slide only. Again she insists that she has not
renamed or moved that one slide.
Does Word have a problem in this area? Does it sometimes lose the connection
when it should not?
