i have an access 97 database with links to excel spreadsheets. the database
was converted to access 2003. the links to excel no longer work. i get this
error message:
"" is not a valid name. make sure that it does not include invalid
characters or punctuation and that it is not too long.
any ideas?
i can re-link them and the new links work. pointing to the exact same file.
using drive mappings both time.
would like a solution rather then re-linking hundreds of links to external
excel spreadsheet.
